GOLF CLUB BALL.
A bright scene of revelry was pre ; sented at Dixieland last evening when the AkaranaGolf Club held their -annual ball; With softly shaded lights and artistic masses of greenry, which -were arranged around the dance floor, a. very pretty, sight was seen as the dancers moved in'the gloom. Spirited music added to the enjoyment' of the evening, and r .a number of the latest tunes were played. On the tables in the cubicles were; vases containing golden wattle and Iceland poppies, and hanging from the ceiling were swinging baskets \of fern. During the evening an exhibition dance, was given by Miss Bettina Edwards and Mr. Crawford Norris. Among those who ■were, present were:—rMesdanies G.- M.
