SHOOTING MISHAP.
PENROSE RIFLE RANGE. SAILOR SHOT IN ABM WOUND NOT SERIOUS. / While engaged in shooting practice at the Penrose rifle range yesterday a sailor on the Philomel, believed to be a sergeant, was shot through the arm. It is understood that he was working behind the butts and was signalling with his arm when the bullet struck him. The wound is believed to be not serious.
