Dr. Hi Annett, of Matangi, is staying at the GraM Hotel. • Mr. E. J.. Parr, Inspector of Schools, Wellington, is staying at the Commercial Hotel. , , * Mr. W. A. lorns, who. is at present in England, was re-elected chairman of the Dairy Produce Board at a meeting of the board in Wellington yesterday. Mr. J. ■H. Baxter, of the Customs Street branch of the Union Bank, has been appointed manager of the Nelson branch of the bank. Mr., R.. A. Coyne, of* Te Awamutu, will succeed him. Mr. R. O. Sinclair, L'L.M., of Auckland, has been appointed to an administrative position in Nigeria under the scheme recently organised by the British Colonial Service for graduates in the Dominions. Mr. Sinclair will first proceed, to Oxford University to undergo a preliminary course of training. Mr. W. A.
