LOCAL PLANTING.
Mr. Fuller in Saturday's "Star" again raises the question of street planting. To my mini the planting of forest trees is in most eases a mistake and embarrassing, especially where, there is a growing increase of overhead wires. I think more attention should be given to the dwarf-growing trees and shrubs, native and foreign, whose flowers at different tunes of. the year would give a beautiful sight 9 our streets and be much simpler and economical to keep in order. No notice, however, appears to be taken of similar suggestions previously made. I hope something will-M, dooe this season.
