BRIGADE'S GOOD WORK.
Fire' through the overheating of an electric iron caused slight damage to the floor and lining boards in one room of a house at 39, Williamson Street, One Tree Hill, owned and occupied by Mr. G. R. Blakey, about" 10.30 Saturday evening. The fire was quickly extinguished by the Rerauera brigade. Outbreak in Motor Car. Minor damage to tlia upholstery and electric wiring of a five-seater motor car owned and driven by Mr. A. G. Quartley, of Glen Road, Remuora, in Victoria Avenue, at 1.45 yesterday morning, was [ quickly "extinguished 'by the Remuera [ Fire Brigade.
