E \ s Moanataiari. — No. 1 reef north: Tins I reef was driven on 4ft. The reef is wider than the drive, and there still appears to be more quartz In the liangingwall. Tho II quartz is carrying iron pyrites aud silica, e No. 2 reef south: The drive on the reef t was extended 3ft. The reef is 3Jft wide, v is heavily mineralised, and looks promising for making gold. ' - ■ t Tui. —The rise on No. - reef was extended r i 4ft. The reef maintains its size and is fairly heavily mineralised, carrying iron s and copper pyrites, a little zinc blende and 8 ii fair amount of antimony. * New Waiotalii. —The country rock in the ! * face of the drive towards the Young Aineris can reef is of a liriner class of sandstone i" and from the survey this lode should be at e hand at any time now. Water is coming from the face still.
