In order to rejoin Beach Road, the trams will continue down'the other ramp arid join .up by mean's of the customary. points.v The junctions are sp placed that trams from the city will be .able to turn straight into £he station, load, proceed down, the. other -raibpj and turn back towards Queen' Street instead of continuing in the direction of Parncll. The probable routes and time-tables have not yet been arranged, but Mr. A. E, Ford, manager of the Transport Hoard; ie proposing to run-a special servjeb froni the station along Customs Hlt'oct, up Queen Street, and back again to-the fixation by the proposed Albert Street route. Even without, the lastnienfcioncd route it will be possible to utilise Queen Street in some circular system. '•'»■';' At the present time concrete is being laid on the rampe, and tlvere will be nothing to,hinder the immediate laying down of the tram rails, supplies of which'fire already on hand.
