The entries are' in greater numbers than has been the case for a number of years, and the butter, say the judges, which has been in cold storage for come four months, opened up in choice condition. In a number of classes two or more exhibits had to be joined. The championship for Auckland province resulted as follows:—Tainia, .374 points, 1; Kaitaia, 372 points. 2.
