GOING TO WELLINGTON.

REMARKABLE RECOVERY.

SHORT VISIT TO CAPITAL.

RESIDENCE NEAR PARLIAMENT.

(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.)

WELLINGTON, this day.

Sir Joseph Ward, the ex-Prime Minister, proposes next week to visit Wellington, where he will reside in a comfortable residence close to Parliament Buildings.

Sir Josepli has made a remarkable recovery from the state of weakness which followed his resignation of the Prime Minister's position, but his physical condition cannot be regarded as normal. However, a wonderfully bright mentality prompts the ex-Prime Minister to secure a change of scene for a short time, and naturally lie will return to the familiar and congenial surroundings associated with his life's work.
