Johnson received presents from Mrs. «. Hassan, a Chinese lady. These consisted of a gold ring, set with valuable green jade, and a suit of green silk pyjamas. Also they have been co-operating with the Onehunga-Manu-kau Chamber of Commerce with regard to the extension of time for worker's tickets on trains and having the halffare age limit raised to 15 instead of 12 years. The committee also wish to see if they can have children allowed to travel free of charge up to the aj?c of five years. °
