Seven Lives Lost in Chinese
Munition Factory.
5000 SHELLS DESTROYED.

SHANGHAI, June -3,
The sound of a big explosion in the Kiangnan ; 'arsenal, which was busily engaged m manufacturing munitions for the use' of Chiang Eiai-shek on the northern front, : was 'heard throughout Shanghai this morning. While the authorities. remain reticent, it appears that seven men were killed and 27 injured/and extensive damage done. The official version states that owing to the heat' 5000 shells exploded.
