TAI HO AND THE DUCKLINGS.
Tai Ho took three young-ducks for a walk. He promised their mother to look after the carefully.
They came to a little pool and he told them to play and not go away, while he had 40 winks.
Tai Ho woke up in a hurry and ound the ducklings gone. He ran about search,ng and then he saw m the distance the wicked nfci with a sack on his back.
Tai Ho followed him as fast as he could and heard quacks from the sack. Presently the Tiki sat down to rest and began to doze.
Tai Ho crept up with his little scissors and cat And they all ran away as fast as they a hole in the sack, and out popped the ducklings. could go. The Tiki was furious at Then for a joke he drew the sack over the the loss of his dinner, wicked Tiki's head—
