PERSONAL ITEMS. Her Excellency Lady Bledisloe, who reached Auckland on Wednesday evening, has been in residence at Government House while Lord Bledisloe has been on a shooting expedition. Her Excellency has no public engagements for to-day. The Governor-General returned to Auckland yesterday. • • « • Miss Thomas, of Sj-dney, is the guest of Mrs. G. Andrews (Te Aroha) and Mrs. Stevenson (Wellington) are staying at Beach House, Milford. • * * • Mr., Mrs. and Miss McKinnon have taken up residence at Beach House, Milford, for the winter months. * * * # Mr. and Mrs. J. Kallender, who have been staying at Hotel Ventnor, Devonport, have left for their new home in Hauraki Road. * » * • Mr. Samuel Kennedy, of Stanley Bay, left yesterday for Wellington, to join the Ulimaroa, en route to England, America, and the Continent.
