GRAND ARCH FATALLY INJURED.

KESULT OF FALL AT AVONDALE. Grand Arch fell at the last hurdle in the Avondale Hurdles at the Avondale meeting on Saturday. He was taken ol! the course, and it is now reported that he died As the result of the injuries he received. Grand Arch was a promising jumper, and it was very bad luck for his owner, Mr. G. A. McShefirey, of Waitoa, \o lose the horse- just when he was coming to his best.
