ONEHUNGA POLICE COURT.

An unprovoked assault was committed on Mr. Ben Hunter on Thursday afternoon, April 24, in Queen Street, Onehunga, by a Maori named Davis, alias Hone Eawhiti. This morning X)avis pleaded guilty when charged with the offence before Messrs. J. E. Green and J. Linking, J.P.'s. He was sentenced to seven days' imprisonment.
