ST. MARK'S, REMUERA. The annual meeting of parishioners held on Tuesday in *i ar t , * s f ate . ST. JOHN'S, NORTHCOTE. The annual meeting of St. John the Baptist Church, e was held on Tuesday. The jicar (the Kev. P. AV. The offertories? received by the " up ' e \ S J", tern amounted to £334. The ycar closed with a bank overdraft of £98. A ] oan £133 on the church had been repaid. The building of the new vicaragc cost ilXoo, and there was a liability of £650 in respect to this A new piano had been purchased for the Parish Hall, and half the amount paid off, leaving £50 owing. The provision of a motor car for the vicar was suggested. Officers for the ensuing year are:— I Vicar's warden, Mr. H. Cadness; peoples warden, Mr. P. Minns; vestry, Messrs. Arnold Taylor, C. A. Deuxberry, R. Cadness, P. C. Cross, A. E. Harding, T. Joll, F. Curtis, P. C. Swinbank, G. G. Evans and Arnold Harrison. It was decided to forward a letter to Mr. Frank H. Woodhouse, expressing appreciation of his work for the church, sympathy -in his illness, and regret that this prevented his active participation in the work in the near future. Mr. Wilkes expressed appreciation of the work of the church officials, and of the happy spirit Jn the parish that Canon McFarland had left behind him. He sftid there had been of late a distinct revival of interest in worship at St. John's, the Sunday evening services being very well attended. The Northcote parish was also responsible for' Glenfield and Albany, and he desired that services should be held there at least fortnightly. It was intended to form a badminton club as a part of the social activities of St. John's.
ST. PETER'S, TAKAPUNA. The annual meeting of parishioners of St. Peter's . Church, Takapuria, was held in the Parish Hall on Tuesday, the vicar, the Rev. W. G. Monckton, presiding. The report showed that the attendances had been well maintained, and the debt on the Milford Church had been reduced by £ 170. A rote of sympathy with the family of the late Rev. 0. R. Hewlett was carried. The following were, elected to the vestry: Vicar's warden, Mr. E. C. Cutten, S.M.; people's warden, Mr. E. E. Grimwade; vestry, Messrs. L. G. Robinson, J. F. Colegrove, C. Pratt, ,T. E. Close, C. E. Archibald, .T. W. Ellis, L. ,T; Atrtitage, G. H. Matthews, E. J. Wilkinson arid C. Kingsford.
