QUESTION OP CONTROL. WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The conferences between the visiting Australian golfers and representatives of the New Zealand Golf Council on the question of future rules for the KirkWindeyer Cup competition have . now been concluded, and the results will be placed before the Australian Golf Union. Mr.< G. O. Sutton, secretary of the New Zealand Golf Council, stated to-day tliat the Australian Golf Union was now willI ing to control matches for the Kirk- [ Wyndeyer Cup in. Australia. This was regarded as a very satisfactory development, as previously the union was not anxious to control cup matches.
