AUCKLAND ROTARY CLUB.

There was a large attendanace at today's lunch meeting of the Auckland Rotary Club, held in the Lewis Eady Hall. Rotarian Stan Ileid presided. Amongst visitors were Messrs. J. M. Thompson (Winnipeg) F. Rice (Napier) and R. A. Gardner (Rotorua). The chief speaker of the day was Rotarian W. J. Holdsworth, who spoke on "Settlement." A vote of thanks, moved by Rotoriaa D. Commons, was passed.
