FATAL ACCIDENTS.
ENGINEER INJURED. FACE AND ARMS BUBNT. Sevcie burns on the face and ark« were received by Mr. W. Whitehead aged 42, of 39, View Road, Mount Eden yesterday afternoon, while he was ad justing a winch on the Northern ship Company's motor vessel Tuhoe He was taken to fche Auckland Hospital where it was reported that Ms condition was not serious. —. .^ MOTOR-CYCLISTS COLLIDE. George Albert Broadfoot, aged 20, died in the hospital last evening from injuries received in a head-on collision between two motor cycles at Karori yesterday. The other rider, D. M. A four-year-old child, Bruce Mclfae, was knocked down by a bus at Opunake yesterday, and received injuries to the head. He died in the Hawera Hospital this evening. It is said that the boy ran out acrott the road in front of the bus. MR. CREWTHER'S CONDITION The condition of Mr. Herbert Creffther, who was injured in a motor cycle accident, is reported to-day -to be slightly improved. Mr. Allan Wilkin is reported to be not quite so well to-day."
