WHANGAREI MEETING.
FORTY-SEVEN HORSES LEAVE. A special horse train left this morning for Whangarei with 47 horses for the Whangarei Eaeing Club's autumn, meeting, which opens at Kensington Park on Thursday. The list is as follows :—Quincoma, Respirator, Tambourine, Brampton, Royal Lover, Tetrachate, Sir Archie, Kawainga, -Palmares, Archcen, Valstreet, Desert Glow, Biddy Comet, Nerval Tea,' ; Gay Idea, Hipo, Tasty, I'm Alone, Glena Bay, Currajong, Wild Country, Marita, Stimulant, Land Measure, Trustee, St. Ames, Sister White, Snowplane, Valorient,. Principal, Imperial Prince, Envoy, L 6 Choucas, Sea Cob, Refresher,' Bold Archer, Treasury, Tanagra, Irish Court, Branson, Scat, Waimuri, Maurieana, Maori Boy, British King, Transformer and Owairaka.
