Goodehild, of Sydney, is spending a holiday in Auckland, and is at the Star Hotel. * * * * Mrs. Heath Preest, Remuera, was in Hamilton over the week-end to attend the marriage of her niece. Sir Lucien and Lady Keary, of Armagh, Ireland, are making an exte'nded visit°to the Dominion. They are at present in the South Island. *■ * » * New Zealanders who know the Hon. Eileen Plunket, daughter of the sth Baron, who was Governor-General of New Zealand, will be interested to hear of her new enterprise. She is now the proud possessor of a charming decorator's business in Beauchamp ( Place, which had under the name of "Swinyard" previously belonged to Mrs. Sheppard, the wife of the much-loved Dean. Mtes Plunket works hard, and is at her business from early morning to six o'clock, and is now preparing to reside over the shop as well.
