New South Wales Bill Passes First Reading. ECONOMY CAMPAIGN. (Received 9.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The bill'to reduce State Parliamentary and official salaries by 15 per cent was read the firs.t time in the Assembly. The Premier, Mr. T.'R. Bavin, said that the Public' Works Committee will be disbanded 'since there is no money available for works.
