DRAINAGE LOAN.
Formal resolutions connected with the borrowing of £82,000 for the purpose of repaying the No. 1 loan of £100,000 raised iu London in 1909 at 4-per cent were passed at a meeting of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board yes-. fcerday.
The chairman (Mr. George ißaildon) and Messrs. E. J. Phelan andT,. Bloodworth wore authorised to execute the jiecessnry documents in connection with the loan The money, it' was stated, is .available at per cent at par. The sinking fund will be of. L} per cent per annum. ■ . i
