MEETINGS.

OTAHUHU SCHOOL COMMITTEE The Otahuhu School Committee met last evening, the' chairman, Mr. C. R. Petrie presiding. A request from the Obstetrical Appeal Committee for permission to hold a carnival in the school grounds on April 12 was granted, witn permission to make a charge for en-' trance. Reference, was made to the injuries received by two boys knocked down by a motor car, and it was decided to ask the traffic inspector to co-operate with the committee in compelling motorists to observe the speed limit when passing the school. It was also decided to ask the A.A.A. to erot sujtalilo'warning eigne. A letter of appreciation was sent to Col. Hunter, retiring director of Dental Hygiene, and to Mr. Saunders, his successor, a letter of congratulation.
