LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
CITY CLUB AFFAIRS. The annual report of the City League Football Club, presented at' the annual ™ stated that four teams had been entered 'in the Auckland Rugby League s competitions last season, -and aUhough no rlnmnionshlps had been won, the standard of nlay throughout had been fairly high. The senior team, had come third in its grade. • The statement of accounts disclosed a credit balance of £43 Hi. _ The following officers were elected. President, Mr. C. Waugh; vice-presidents, same as last year,'with power to add; secretary and treasurer, Mr. E. Asher; assistant secretary, Mr. K. Kennedy ; delegate to Auckland Rugby League, Mi. W. J. Davidson; delegate to junior management committee, Mr. F. Kennedy ; club captain, Mr M Wetherill; committee, Mesais. b. Davidson, W. Ghent, H. Hawkes, Ivan, W. Fitzgerald,.C. Johnson and J.
