THE PLUNKET SOCIETY.
An urgent appeal for financial assistance will be made on Friday by the Plunket Society through the medium of street collections. It is stated that the maintenance of the nurses for the ensuing year will be about £2200, and the society hopes that a great deal of this will come . from the - collection. Tlie society has done 21 years' good service in Auckland.
