After escaping from the Wi Tako prison on March 19, a young Maori, John Tabu Andrews, aged 19, broke into several houses and stole various articles and money. He was recaptured to-day and pleaded guilty to four charges of breaking, entering and theft, involving £12 15/. He was remanded for sentence.
