OBSTETRICAL APPEAL.

Afternoon tea-was; provided and a . very: pleasant and profitable afternoon was spent. ; ■§, y

. In connection with' "the obstetrical appeal, the/Heme; Bay.yPonsonby, Richmond and, West End branch' [held its second committee meeting in the Leys In. stitute Thursday afternoon, Mrs. N. A. Cooke' presiding. ?The 'members present were:—Mesdames' Aickin, 1 Brown, Dickinson, Flynn, Grace, Gaughan, Hastings Jackson, Wengdail,% Palmer, Smith,' Scott, Kiely and Phillips. Miss Phillips actpd as secretary; Apologies f orabsenceiwere received. ; The -reports handed in were pleasing, the sum of £55 being in hand. Arrangements for the bridge drive next Wednesday, March 26, 2 o'clock, in Point Erin Park kiosk, were completed, and the Westmere area re street canvassing was put in hand.
