MOTOR CYCLE FATALITY.
INQDEST ON" MR. T. DAMON. The inquiry Was Concluded yesterday afternoon at ; the Magistrate's Court by the coroper, Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., jrito the circumstances connected -with the death of' Francis'Dalton, aged 73 years, who on March 5 was turning the corner of Cranston and Grey Avenues, Otahuhu, when his motor cycle #»*rturncd and he sustained /-injuries. which'-resulted in jbis death at the' Auckland Hospital the following evening. Medical evidence was given that the cause of death was shock and heart failure, fallowing upon an accident.
David ' Hugh Cranston, who. was in the side-car at the time of the. accident, stated that Mr. Dalton had purchased the motor cycle about six mtmths previously; The accident was due to an error of judgment in turning the corner. Mr. Dalton had been driving about four months, but had not got his license. The coroner found that death was due to shock following upon injuries received owing to a motor cycle overturning. .
