SHOT DURING WAR.
COWARDS AND DESERTERS. (Received 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, March 18. In the House of Commons Mr. T. Shaw, Minister of War, informed a questioner that 264 soldiers were shot during wartime for desertion, and eighteen for cowardice. Two officers were shot for desertion, one for'murder and desertion, and none for cowardice. e
