At Present. LONG BREAD QUEUES. (Received 1 p.m.) WASHINGTON, March 18. Senator Wagner, testifying at the Commerce Committee's inquiry on unemploymtent, declared that there had never been a situation so serious as the present. Bread queues stretched f.or blocks in the large cities, and many thousands s of people were "without food. Seasonal employment would probably occur in the, month of May, but would hot produce a basic improvement.
