TE KORERO For Boy Scouts
New Zealand Sea Scouts.
"Sea scouting is in no way affected by the new regulations, and will be carried on as before ,in accordance with the Sea Scout handbook. There vail be an official note in the revised P.O.R. to this effect when issued." Such is Commander Hall's reply to Captain Wood,?s letter asking for a decision regarding Sea Scout training. If, as Commander Hall states, there will be "au official note to this effect when the revised P.O.R. is issued," commissioners may well ask themselves why
this note was not included in the draft of the alterations of English P.O.R. submitted to them for approval or comment tome few weeks ago.
Xo doubt the "blue peril" is a valuable training manual, and may be used by Sea Scouters who require knowledge in matters nautical, but the organisation 'suggested therein was automatically thrown overboard with its land brother the '/grey streak." when, ,by unanimous vote, the Dominion Council decided to revert, to Imperial P.O.R. Following the list of modifications agreed upon as necessary for.New Zealand, conditions, was the.clause: "Land and: Sea Scouts, being of- the one brotherhood are grouped as Scouts."
