PUKEKOHE BOROUGH COUNCIL.

The Pukekohe Borough Council decided in the classification of roads as'follow: — Commerce Street and Manukau Road from Harris Street to the thorough boundary are to be second-class roads, and the following roads are to 'be fifth-class; Wesley Street, John Street, Kitchener Road from Manukau Eoad to Tuakau Road, Belgium Street, Cape Hill Road,* McNally's Road, Franklin Road and Kayes Road.

It was reported that the council's offer of £75 for the land required from the Hunter Estate for continuing John Street, through to Harris Street had been accepted. Arrangements were made for a survey. > •

The Mayor and Messrs. G. T. Parvin and W. J. Short were appointed to arrange for the combined Anzac Day service at Pukekohe.
