DANCE AND CARD PARTY.
A grand novelty dance and five hundred card party under the direction of Mrs. A. Howell, was held in the Ellerslie Parish Hall on St. Patrick's night to raise funds for the: Ellerslie School dental clinic. The hall was beautifully decorated. The Harmonic Jazz Band provided a programme of music that left nothing to be desired. Winners of the five hundred were: (Ist) Mrs. Chapman and Mrs. Sly; (2nd) Mrs. Walker and Mrs. Cole. The hostess, Mrs. A. Howell, was wearing a frock of flame georgette with Oriental lace" panel. Amongst those present were: Miss Joyce Howell, who wore kingfisher, blue taffeta; Miss Connie Howell, white ninon and black velvet bands; Miss I. Irwin, apple green georgette and tulle; Miss K.
