STATEMENT BY MR. HOWARD. (Bj- Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON"- Tuesday. After a speech which amounted to a general condemnation of the United Government's administration, at a political meeting in Frankton last night, Mr. E. J. Howard, Labour M.P. for Cliristeliurch South, in answer to a question, said the Labour party had moved a vote of no-confidence in the United Government, but the Reform party had not supported the motion. If the Reform party moved a vote o£ no-confidence the Labour party would not support it, because the Labour party had pledged itself to turn Reform out of office.
