CRUELTY TO COWS.
YOutH COMMITTED BY COURT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WAIROA (H. 8.), this day. In the Children's Court to-day a youth was committed to the care of the Superintendent of Child Welfare for particularly cruel treatment of cows. He screwed the tails off two cows on the farm where he was employed.
