O'Shea (4Jyds) 3. Second Heat: G. Mcßride (Byds), 1; R. Willey (65yds), 2; B. Bennett (12yds), 3. Final. —Horam, 1; Funnell, 2; O'Shea, 3. Won by three yards, only inches between second and third. 220 yds Handicap.—N. S. Funnell (10yds), 1; J. W. Coney (24yds), 2 ; R. C. Willey (6yds), 3. Won by inches, a yard between second and third. Time, 22 l-ss. 440 Yards Handicap.—H. D. Ball, 25yds, 1; G. L. Mitchell, 18yds, 2; W. A. Briggs, lSyds, 3. Won by inches, three yards between second and third. One Mile Handicap.—A. B. Browne, 70 yds, 1; N. F. Cooper, scratch, 2; L. C. Barker, 45yds, 3. Won by four yards, eight! yards between second and third. Time, 4.39. Javelin Throwing.—J.
