AERO CLUB FORMED.
BAY OF PLENTY MOVEMENT. ELECTION OP OFFICEES. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHAKATANE, this day. A large and enthusiastic meeting at Whakatane last night formed a club to be known as the Bay of Plenty Aero. Club. Officials were elected as follows: Patrons, Messrs. K. S. Williams and C. E. McMillan, M.P.'s; president, Mr. William Sullivan; vice-presidents, Messrs. W. W. Smedley, L. Sison, Walter Thompson, Neil Carter, J. D. Dicker, H. J. S. Johnson, H. L. D. West, J. M. Curtis, Stewart Spence, G. S. Bullen, F. liysaght, and J. Pearson; lion, secretary, Mr. L. Dunning; committee, Messrs. K. Armstrong, J. Allison, Vallcr, F. Orchard, F. Adcock, A. F. Moncur, F. Ryde, and. E. Ward; hon. doctors, Drs. McMeckea, J. C. Wadmore, and F. J. Appleby; hon. auditor, Mr. F. Prideaux. The secretary was instructed to get copies of the rules of kindred clubs and call a meeting to be addressed by Major Cowper, instructor for Hamilton Airways, at a date to suit him.
