RESULT OF PAINTING COMPETITION OF FEB. 8

( The result of the painting competition of Tim and Toots on the toboggan racing with Tinker, the puppy, were very good. Colour scheme, shading, neatness, and imagination all combined to product! pictures worthy of the brushes of much older artists. Especially good were the paintings sent in by lan Taylor, Beryl Bishop, Betty Middleton, Joyce Martin and Palmer Liclgard. All these competitors paid attention to the details that go to make perfect harmony, giving the picture a pleasing effect. The five children mentioned above were each awarded a half-crown prize. Very good work was also sent in by Nancy Morrison, Phyllis Crowlev, Patty LyneS and Dorothy Vaiise.
