Who is responsible for a doctor's fee in the case of medical attention being called by a , teacher to a child in a school in the case of emergency? Recently the School . Committee s Association wrote to the Education Department asking for a ruling in regard to the responsibility of payment. To-day the Education Board received a letter from the Department stating that it was unable to define a ruling. Further it knew of no instance where a parent had refused to pay under the circumstances, and that it was of the opinion that every case would have to be considered on its legal aspects. ' ~ . . , The board decided to obtain a legal opinion from their own solicitor.
