BURNS' POEMS.

Many people who are familiar with Burns poems will no doubt wonder why Miss Alice Kenny has omitted even to mention that masterpiece of Burns, "Epistle to a Young Friend," and next in place of honour the unparalleled Christian Socialist poem, "Man was Made to Mourn." lam glad to hear elocution is to be taught in secondary schools, as I learned by heart these two poems when a girl» and they have been to me as another Sermon on the Mount.
