CONDITION OF H. GOLDFINCH.
SERIOUSLY HURT INTERNALLY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TE AROHA, this day. H. Goldfinch, who was riding Arikitoa in the Piako Handicap yesterday, when five horses fell, shows slight improvement to-day: From inquiries it was ascertained that the injuries are internal and serious, and that recovery will he slow. J. Chandler, rider "of Te Appurangi in the Elstow Handicap, who received slight head injuries, is making good progress.
