WALK ROUND WORLD.
New Zealander Sets Off From
Sydney.
SEVEN-YEAR TASK.
SYDNEY, March 2
Anthony Gerard Ormond, aged 26, of New Zealand, began an attempt to walk round the world yesterday from the Sydney General Post Office at 3 p.m. Ormond has taken only £20 with him but he has plenty of confidence. He says he will walk round Australia and then New Zealand, after which he will go to the Islands. He estimates that the trip will occupy seven years.
