CHEAP METALS.
TIN AND SILVER,

RUGBY, March 1.
New low records were established by tin and silver on the metal market yesterday. Tin fell to £168 1/3 per ton, which is the lowest price since 1922, when £139 per ton was recorded.
Bar silver dropped to 19 per ounce. This is the lowest price reached 6ince the official records were kept. It is ascribed to the reintroduction of a duty of 4d per lb in the Indian Budget.
