LORRY CAPSIZED.

DRIVERS MARVELLOUS ESCAPE.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)

TE PUKE, Saturday.

As the result of his steering gear snapping Mr. A. T. Andrews' lorry failed to negotiate a sharp corner at Papamoa on the Tauranga-Tc Puke Road last evening. He was returning with a heavy load at dusk when the vehicle failed to right itself at a sharp and dangerous corner, and somersaulted over a steep incline. The driver, though unhurt, was pinned beneath the cab of the lorry until help could be rendered. Fortunately for Mr. Andrews the cab remained intact, where the rest of the vehicle was damaged extensively. *' Thus the driver escaped without serious injury aud quite possibly Joss.of-lu2<life>.
