AUCKLAND V. WELLINGTON
THE AUCKLAND TEAM,
The following players have been selected ,to represent Auckland in the forthcoming match at Wellington for the Plunket Shield: —■ C. Allcott, A. Anthony, S. A. R. Badeley, W. L. Elliott, H. Hunt, H. E. Gillespie, A. M: Matheson, A. W. McCoy, J. Mills, G. L. Weir, A. F. Wenslev, P. Whitelaw. The original selection included W. R. Garrard, of Cambridge," on the information that Hunt, the Ponsonby wicketkeeper, -was not available. This morning it Was discovered that Hunt was available, and he was chosen as wicketkeep in place of Garrard. Players are requested to see the secretary of the association for details of the trip, and are also requested to advise the secretary without delay if they are not available. The Auckland team, which will leave on Wednesday for Wellington to play the final Plunket Shield match of the season, against the Wellington team, will be accompanied by Mr. J. H. Watts as manager. - . SOUTHERN TEAM SELECTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The following players have been selected to represent Wellington in the Plunket Shield match against Auckland, starting on Friday:— Lowrv, Dempster, Foley, Cameron, Hollings, James, McLcod, McGirr, Massev, Gallichan, Henderson.
