BEAUTIFUL HAIR.

HOT OIL TREATMENT.

The hair really requires to be washed once every three weeks, as the atmosphere all conspires to make the hair dull, heavy and lifeless. But naturally it is not desired to alter the tone of the hair. The hot oil shampoo will solve all difficulties. Prepare a basin of olive oil, previously made as hot as can be borne by standing in boiling water, and wring two very large towels out of hot water. Part the hair in the centre and rub the hot oil well along the scalp, using a small sponge. Then make a parting at the side and repeat the oil treatment until the entire scalp has been treated in this way. • Following by firm massage for ten minutes, kneading and rubbing to induce "the scaip to absorb as mucn oil as possible. Then wrap one of the hot towels round the head and, when it cools off, use the other towel. Change the towels frequently, for the higher the temperature the more oil will the scalp absorb.
