MID-WEEK COMPETITION,
The result of the match between the "Herald" and the Auckland Milk Company played in the Auckland Suburban Cricket Association's mid-week competition at Victoria Park yesterday was as follow:— "Herald" 182 (Edmunds 78 retired, Watkins 51, Rout 12). Bowling: P. Foster took two wickets, Thompson two, Robertshaw one. Auckland Milk Company 110 (Cullum 62, P. Foster 30). Bowling: Webb took sis wickets, C. Guiney two, K. Wilson two.
