FIRE AT PONSONBY.

One room was damaged by a fire, which broke out in a house in 5, Seymour Square, Ponsonby, about 9.30 last evening. The Western Districts Brigade was summoned, and it managed to confine the outbreak. The other rooms were damaged by smoke. The building was occupied by Mr. E. Guilding.
