FASHION CONQUERED.
KING'S PERSONALITY. LONDON, February 6. The King's pet sartorial fancies are discussed by the editor of the ''Tailor and Cutter," in an article dealing with the uniformity of fashion. "His clothes follow the mode, though they ;do not stress it," the article says. "Whether formally clad and unbending, or in sport, his personality keeps breaking through. His Majesty prefers to crease his trousers at the side. We wears his tie slipped through a gold ring, and reiuses to allow the restlessness of fashion to sweep away the attractive decorative note. He fancies black boots, with tan uppers, and .turnback cuffs to his overcoats. • • "The general effect of his . outfit is cheerfulness, and his personality peeps out in the little asides which His Majesty doubtless relishes."
